I had the St Louis (I think) style ribs with hot barbecue and the brisket. That was too much for me, and I am a big boy. I had mac-n-cheese and potato salad as sides. I am not a connoisseur of sweet tea, it seemed good enough, but the others at the table raved about it. We also had the cherry cobbler which was very good as well. At this point I was stuffed and happy. I think I need a nap. two thumbs up!

We've eaten here twice in 2 weeks and although everything looks and smells fabulous, I can't get past the beef brisket sandwich. It is wonderful and a great value - you get a huge sandwich, chips and a side (the potato salad is good but the beans are better!) for $6. They have 3 sauces, sweet, hot and mix - I'm into the sweet but my husband swears by the hot. The macaroni and cheese is great, too, but the fried biscuits and apple butter are spectacular. Seriously, the sides are so good that I could bring my vegetarian friends and they would be satisfied. Squealers is casual and quick, with a bluesy vibe due to the music and decor. I've never had room to actually eat dessert there but last time we got a chocolate lava cake to go. I'm ordering dessert first next time! They rotate desserts so don't hate me if the lava isn't there when you go but the cobblers are pretty tempting, too. Squealers is southeast of 86th & Zionsville.
