This place is awesome!! I go for lunch and its a great big buffet for very little price. The food is well prepared and always tasty. I was told its a northern style cooking from a friend who is new to our country, and he thinks its also the best in the city. I recommend this restaurant for its authentic design and delightful food with friendly atmosphere where your sure to see someone you know enjoying the cuisine.

so man, i went in search of this udipi place, and being new to town, and terribly hungry, didn't pause to check the addresses. I ended up at this place. First of all, this place has horrible ventilation, and I was in the coat I'd had to wear to the customer site the following day, so I had to run to the car drop off my coat, and run back (Indianapolis in the middle of January is not a good spot to be without a jacket!) to ensure I didn't smell like a curry house! Sat down, inside of 1 minute, the server came over got my drink order, inside of another minute had my drink, then inside of the next 2 minutes checked back on me got my food order, and inside of another 15 mts my food arrived. The service was really perfect, didn't hurt that there was no one in this place (red flag). dude... the food was HORRIBLE. yikes, huge mistake... i suffered through it (remember that I was hungry walking in this joint earlier, so it shouldn't have mattered!) anyway.. sorry about the long narrative, absolutely don't recommend this place unless the mcdonald's down the street is closed.

They always have a great selection of dishes and at low prices and they are at a great location.

Why would anyone go to this place when they could go to Udupi Cafe which is literally 30ft down the sidewalk from India Palace????? It doesn't make sense to me, when I see people walking into India Palace

Great Indian food. Lunch buffet is a good buy and very popular or you can order a variety of entrees from the menu. Located in unspectacular strip mall by Lafayette Square shopping center. Look for coupons in the mail.
