The Indianapolis Museum of Art is one of the largest general art museums in America, with a collection of 50,000 works of art drawn from a variety of cultures around the world. The museum includes works by Georges Seurat and J.M.W. Turner, and the attached nature park contains 152 acres of land to explore. It is located next to the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art and Nature Park, south of Butler University.
Open Tue., Wed. and Sat. 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Thurs. - Fri. 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Sun. noon - 5:00 p.m.
