The Indiana Medical History Museum houses a large collection of scientific artifacts from the 19th and 20th centuries in an authentic medical setting. The museum is equipped with recreated clinical laboratories, a photo lab, an amphitheater, autopsy room and library. Housed in what once was the 19-room Pathological Department Building on the grounds of the former Central State Hospital, the museum is west of the Indianapolis Zoo and north of Mount Jackson Cemetery.
Open Thurs. - Sat. 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Wed. by appointment only.
Adults $5; AAA and AARP members $4; University Students $3; Students 18 and under $1.
